What does “Tablet of your Heart” mean?

In the Bible there are several places where it speaks of God writing on “The tablets of our hearts”. Two of them are in 2 Cor. 3:2-3, and in Prov. 3:3. We are to be letters for Christ, written not just on stone tablets, but on human hearts. So in our lives today, we should strive to live according to God’s plan and “BE” what He wants us to be. As a Christ follower, it is a goal to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord by our example, and not just our words. Caring, praying, and doing for others and for God, out of gratefulness to Him for His matchless grace. He is a wonderfully faithful God.

Myrna, thanks for the explanation. I’ll be looking for that phrase in my Bible reading.
