He took the nails for me

I’ve been so convicted to keep writing, and also to share something with you.

That song keeps going through my mind all week! I won’t get the words exactly correct unless I google it but I don’t even know if I know how to do that…so here goes…(you might want to imagine Carrie Underwood’s voice or something while you read it, and not mine..)

“Living He loved me. Dying he saved me. Buried, He carried my sins far away! Rising He justified. Freely forever. Someday He’s coming, oh glorious day, oh glorious day…!”

Just remember that today, on the day we remember his last supper with his disciples. He knew he was going to be betrayed and crucified. He washed His disciple’s feet. He served them a meal in love.

Remember this tomorrow, as he was hanging on the cross, after terrible scourging and beating.

Remember this on Saturday, the day of silence and waiting…

Remember this on the Resurrection Sunday..EASTER! He rose again and showed His glory and wonder and power!

Remember that He will be coming again, and it will be a glorious day for those who believe.

Grace is the only reason I’ll be there with Him in glory. Every eye will see Him. Every knee will bow. Will you take His hand?
